ABOUT HILTON ETIENNE
Hilton Etienne is a Research and Policy Associate with the Education & Society Program at the Aspen Institute. In this role, Hilton provides research assistance, facilitation, policy memos, and administrative support for the Policy team. Prior to joining Aspen, Hilton worked with underrepresented youth to navigate the college application process through a student-led organization at the University of Florida, served as a U.S. House of Representatives Legislative Intern, and was awarded the highest recognition for student leaders through induction into the University of Florida Hall of Fame. Additionally, Hilton served as a participant in the Harvard Kennedy Public Policy Leadership Conference & completed the PPIA fellowship at the Princeton School of Public & International Affairs. Hilton is currently a 2025 SEO Law Catalyst Scholar and is deeply interested in the intersection between education policy and civil rights. Upon completion of his leadership program at the Aspen Institute he plans on obtaining a J.D. & Maters of Public Policy through a combined degree program. In his free time he enjoys watching Florida Gator athletics and listening to audiobooks.
