About Michael Hill
Just kicked off my career with Databricks - I’ll update as the story is written—During my last project with Accenture, I supported the Social Security Administration\'s instance of ServiceNow as a Technical Project Manager/SME. Proudly owning the process from soup to nuts and wearing a number of hats to deliver a high quality solution for the customer. I\'m hands-on with every part of the delivery process, from working with the product owners to formulate the user stories, to translating the business needs into technical requirements, and then operating as scrum master throughout the sprint. This level of involvement makes the \"thumbs up\" at the sprint review all the more satisfying. Having recently achieved an AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification, I look forward to leveraging that knowledge and aid the client in developing a more complete suite of products.Previously operated as Functional Lead on Oracle PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 upgrade effort for Department of Defense client. Other successes include- Performed data analytics of general ledger transactions using a proprietary reconciliation tool- Championed Agile methodology implementation to enhance client business capabilities- Helmed requirements gathering and business process redesign efforts- Every conceivable testing activity in the software development lifecycle- And, I even manned the phones on the help deskI\'ve covered a lot of ground in my six years in the Defense & Public Safety industry. I most enjoy engaging the client in conversations to uncover their challenges and pain points. I haven\'t always known the solution immediately, but I\'ve always been able to find it.
