ABOUT HILLARY BOYE DOKU

I am a second year PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) undergraduate at the University of Warwick. I am a recipient of the 2022-3 Harvard Book Prize. I have undertaken work experience at the FLIC Youth Advisory Board, Financial Times, Bloomberg News, The Voice Magazine, the Young Journalists Academy, Baringa, and the policy thinktank the Resolution Foundation. I was also the Deputy Features Editor at the Warwick Boar and run my own engaging current affairs blog that I am revamping with a new series. I am also the Sponsorships Officer at the Black Women’s Project Warwick, and an ambassador and events coordinator at the Black Economists Network. I am involved with multiple careers development programmes. I am a Rare Candidate, Brokerage Candidate, Bright Network Candidate, Zero Gravity Scholar, UpReach candidate, Amos Bursary Scholar, Helena Kennedy Foundation Scholar, mentee at the Black Economist Network, and member of We are Black Journos. I am keen to build experience that enables me to be at my best form, whilst contributing positively to the world around me.
