Lead association and industry advocacy efforts on social licensing issues for utility-scale clean energy facilities.• Manage ACP’s Local Affairs Committee and coordinate with state and regional stakeholders.• Track and evaluate emerging local/state-level siting policy issues affecting clean energy project deployment.• Cultivate and maintain relationships with elected officials, government agencies, key stakeholders, and advocacy groups to inform policy development and legislative outcomes, and to promote positive partnerships and address mutual concerns.• Represent ACP in stakeholder meetings, including industry forums to advocate for policies that support the clean energy transition. • Develop compelling advocacy and educational content tailored to diverse audiences, including fact sheets, position papers, blogs, and newsletter articles. • Supervise internal teams and outside contractors to support portfolio initiatives and provide guidance on project deliverables and timelines.• Develop annual strategic plan for the local affairs portfolio and help facilitate achievement of social license goals owned by other teams within ACP.
