Trained in Environmental Health (Derby MSc 2014), including workplace health and safety, environmental management and audit, housing, food safety and hygiene, contaminated land, public health, policy and law etc. Current role no longer using training very much so am seeking role where my training and experience can be used to much greater extent for purpose.

ABOUT HILARY BAIMBRIDGE MURRAY
I am an experienced manager with a thorough understanding of the risk management process and timely and effective investigation, audit and inspection as well as quality management systems and change management. I am passionate about safety and good environmental management, based on extensive ongoing training and experience. I also have much experience of people management, especially relating to compliance and KPIs. I have been active in health care management in professional and voluntary roles for many years, I have two Master’s degrees in acute and preventative healthcare.(Companies often only ask for NEBOSH training, whereas Masters level in W/place H&S and Environmental Management and Audit is much more detailed.) I have also been using my time to promote ethics training with medical students for a number of years at the University of Manchester as President of the Manchester Medical Ethics Group, a registered educational charity. I am a member of two professional bodies, the Institute of Acoustics (Aff. IOA) and the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH(Grad)), which provide ongoing training through regular seminars and monthly journals. IOSH only covers H&S, whereas the CIEH covers H&S, Env. M\'ment and other areas of training. I am very keen to use this considerable training and experience in greater practical application. Currently completing NEBOSH gen. cert. to meet employer requirement I have six grown children with degrees at three levels, including 2 PhDs, between them, and am looking to stay close to my elderly mother in Manchester. I am able to develop my career further with the increased flexibility of living alone with a home office, and great ad hoc mobility. I would like part time or full time work with some degree of flexitime. I am an experienced speaker, having presented at schools, prisons, seminars and on media. Consequently, I can also offer training, project management and research, among many other skills.
