About Hilary Heishman
To my role as an associate managing director in a large health philanthropy, I bring experience in practical public health, health policy, healthcare transformation, health education, international development, and research. My grantmaking has tended to focus on building strong health-promoting systems that connect and coordinate healthcare, public health, human services and other areas. I want to see systems and institutions in the US that prioritize and work for people and follow their lead to help them thrive, especially those for whom thriving is hardest.
