Since we spend about two thirds of our lives upright, either on our feet or seated, our bodies naturally move less in the upright position. When targeting a cancerous tumor, this reduction in motion allows greater accuracy when targeting radiation. At Leo Cancer Care, we have designed solutions to reduce the long setup and immobilization times so radiation therapists can treat their patients with more precision and speed, reducing treatment schedules, increasing equipment availability, reducing costs, and improving access to proton treatments.
