About Hilaf Hasson
Founding the Applied/Research AI Team at Cohesity and establishing its enterprise-scale GenAI research program.In my prior role as a Research Scientist at Intuit AI Research I oversaw the University Collaboration Program for AI, shaping key research initiatives and managing academic alliances to broaden Intuit’s AI research impact. Beyond the program, I also led and contributed to independent research projects that drive innovation across Intuit’s AI ecosystem.In the past I have developed the science behind Amazon Forecast\'s (AWS AI Lab\'s ML service for large scale time series forecasting) biggest launches, where I was the lead scientist for part of my tenure. I have led and published (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AISTATS, IJF) research projects, both applied and theoretical.Before that I was a pure mathematician, working in Arithmetic Geometry. I held faculty positions at the University of Maryland, Stanford University, and Penn State University.
