About Venkat Kaushik
I’m an enterprise architect and engineering leader with 20+ years of experience spanning scientific discovery, distributed systems, AI/ML enablement, and large-scale platform strategy. My journey began in experimental physics at Fermilab, then CERN, where I helped design real-time data systems and statistical data analyses in precision measurements and search for new signals - to extract rare signals from collider data. That early grounding in rigor and scale shaped how I approach architecture today: with clarity, systems thinking, and a bias for delivery.Since then, I’ve led architecture and AI platform initiatives across telecom, financial services, and insurance—designing agent-based simulations, metadata-driven optimization tools, and multi-agent conversational platforms. I’ve developed and deployed governance frameworks, reference models, and ML enablement systems in regulated, federated environments.I work best where technical depth, cross-functional collaboration, and purposeful execution converge. I’ve partnered with senior business and product leaders to shape platform direction, mentored engineers into principal roles, and guided global teams across delivery, infrastructure, and data domains. My goal is to build systems—and teams—that scale, sustain, and adapt.
Experience
Senior Manager
Mar 2022 — Present · Charlotte, NC, US
At PwC, I lead enterprise architecture and platform strategy engagements across telecom, insurance, and financial services. I’ve helped define architecture review frameworks, establish governance boards, and deliver modular reference models that bridge technical design with business capability alignment. My recent work includes architecting a multi-agent conversational platform to automate knowledge capture and designing agent-based simulation models for insurance customer adoption strategy. I also co-led the development of metadata-driven reporting optimization tools—filing a patent for visual similarity scoring of enterprise dashboards.Beyond solution delivery, I mentor cross-functional teams, collaborate with VP-level stakeholders, and advise on strategy for AI, data mesh, and ERP integration. My focus is on systems that scale — and helping people grow while building them.
