In my role as a HR Director at Canon Europe, having worked across all disciplines of HR, I understand the importance of my role and the value my team, add to the organisation. I’m commercially focussed and have an ability to align people strategies to business objectives, ensuring that we add value and a real and measurable return. As a confident communicator with the ability to influence and quickly build rapport, I enjoy motivating others to reach their true business and personal potential and this is the most rewarding aspect of management for me. I strive to be a role model for the behaviours and ethos that are in the DNA of Canon. I’m conscientious, results focussed and ambitious with a desire to over achieve. My previous operational management experience, outside the HR discipline, gives me a greater insight and enables me to better relate to my colleagues.I have two lovely daughters, I\'m an avid home baker, music lover, I love to read and constantly crave knowledge and learning. I thrive on variety and operate more effectively managing a number of different activities at the same time in my work and in my personal life.
