ABOUT HIBAH MEHVISH
As a neuroscience and immunology student at the University of Toronto, I\'ve developed a deep curiosity for where science, medicine, and technology intersect. While I’ve always been drawn to medicine, I’m increasingly exploring how research, biotech, and AI can transform healthcare systems and make them more equitable and efficient.Born in Toronto and raised in Muscat, Oman, I bring a global perspective shaped by rich cultural experiences and a strong sense of community. My roots in Hyderabad, India are central to who I am, especially through my connection to food, tradition, and language. I’m fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, and currently learning Arabic.Outside of academics, I’m involved in hospital volunteering, STEM outreach, refugee support, and science communication. I thrive when collaborating, learning something new, or helping others access opportunities they might not have had otherwise.I’m driven by curiosity, connection, and a desire to make a meaningful impact, wherever I go.Let’s connect!
