I am an engineering leader and product innovator passionate about building the future of ambient computing. My focus for the past several years has been on pioneering the next generation of AI, answering the pivotal question: How do we enable a truly intelligent assistant to leave the home and become a part of our users\' daily lives, wherever they are?At Amazon, I lead the teams at the forefront of this mission, spearheading the creation of on-the-go Alexa devices. My work transformed the Alexa Mobile App into the central hub for this ecosystem, driving the deep integration of pioneering hardware like Echo Frames and Echo Buds and enabling seamless interaction of music services (like Spotify, Apple Music), maps, notifications.To power this ambient future, my focus has been on building the next generation of conversational intelligence itself, culminating in Alexa+. But true ubiquity requires openness. That\'s why I also drove strategic initiatives like the Voice Interoperability Initiative (VII), delivering the MAX toolkit to enable multiple voice agents to work together on a single device. This work is fundamental to creating a truly open and intelligent AI ecosystem for our customers.As a leader, my philosophy is to foster a culture of bold innovation, grounded in a history of execution—from driving 50% user adoption with a lightweight shopping app for new markets to delivering the complex AI platforms of today.
