About Howard Hertz
I am an entertainment lawyer with substantial experience for over 40 years in representing recording artists, songwriters, record labels, publishers, artist managers and producers, as well as representation in the film, television, radio and literary industries. I draft and negotiate contracts, resolve disputes in music, entertainment and intellectual property, file copyrights and trademarks and network on behalf of my clients. I am involved in many entertainment organizations and act as an artist manager in the music industry. I have also been an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan Law School and Wayne State University Law School teaching entertainment law and act as an expert witness, arbitrator and mediator regarding disputes in the music industry.Specialties: Entertainment law in music, film, radio, television, literary industries and intellectual property. I also serve as an expert witness in music industry disputes.
