About Bianca Pham

I am a resilient, resourceful, and hardworking daughter of successful immigrant parents. My family is my motivation, and I show them my appreciation by making the most of my opportunities. I am the first in my family to pursue a bachelor\'s and master\'s degree in accounting and am aspiring to obtain my CPA license.I acquired an Associate’s of Science degree from Dallas College while working as a Financial Operations Specialist at Avnet, Inc. in Richardson, Texas. This entry-level position was my first experience in the corporate world and sparked my interest in accounting. I learned business operations, chain supply, conventional email, and office etiquette while discovering how to audit, transcribe data, and do basic accounting. My supervisor inspired me to strive for an accounting degree. After two years of working full-time and going to school part-time, I decided to become a full-time student. I transferred to The University of Texas at Dallas during the COVID-19 pandemic and was introduced to asynchronous learning. Because of asynchronous learning, I have polished my skills in business communication, time management, collaboration, and computing. I am a proud member of the Professional Program in Accounting, Class 15, and am also currently involved in Beta Alpha Psi. I will earn my Bachelors of Science in May 2023, Masters of Science in May 2024 and be CPA eligible in the spring of 2024.
