ABOUT HELEN HALLORAN

I\'ve been working the field of law since the 1980s. I first worked on the WPPSS MDL 551 litigation for a company called Database Management Center which was an organization within Betts, Patterson & Mines. I have worked in government (U.S. District Court), nonprofits (Planned Parenthood & PATH) biotechs (Immunex, Dendreon, VLST, Seattle Genetics, Impel NeuroPharma), healthcare (Sound Physicians) and architecture (Callison.)My experience includes paralegal/legal assistance with patent and trademark matters (including portfolio management, docketing, coordination with outside counsel, and prosecution), contract management from end-to-end, corporate entity registrations, board of directors management, and administering corporate insurance policies. I have managed various document management systems in my past positions, as well as contract management and licensing tracking systems. While at VLST, I implemented a document management system and entered all contracts into it for tracking. I also implemented an intellectual property tracking system at PATH, and worked on automating their employee conflict of interest disclosure statements. I evaluated and chose a contract management system while at Dendreon and two document management systems while at PATH and VLST. At Impel NeuroPharma, my current position, I evaluated and implemented an IP tracking & analysis system, and a contract management system.
