I support the Consumer Risk, Finance and Treasury and Liquidity (CRFTL) portfolios. On a daily basis, I partner with programme managers, scrum masters and business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, document and communicate business requirements. I undertake the assessment of stakeholders and technical requirements, review solution options, present alternatives, and gain stakeholder and IT consensus. I play a critical role to ensure the solutions delivered successfully address the business needs in keeping with internal / external audit standards and regulatory requirements. At the moment, I am the Business Analyst on the bank’s Internal Rating Board (Business Banking) project. The project is geared towards implementing the new regulatory directives that occasion a change in the Definition of Default with impact to the capital and impairment models.My responsibilities include:• Collaborating with the Product Owner & Stakeholders to understand scope and define further when necessary• Demonstrating team work ethic and dynamic attitude through effective interaction • Facing off to one or many business areas/SMEs in order to understand and define high level requirements• Working with Data Analysts in identifying data sources and providing clear data requirements• Working independently to elicit, validate, and document systems requirements (the full gamut of requirements engineering)• Defining and agreeing the test strategy and assist in User Acceptance Testing • Preparing and issuing a range of key business analysis artefacts• Communicating effectively with the senior business stakeholders, Architecture Owner, Project Manager and our Agile teams across multiple locations (UK, Prague, NY and Pune)• Using robust analysis techniques to assess options and identify & agree solutions for key issues
