I build the spaces where culture and community meet.For more than 20 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of storytelling, arts and culture, public media, and community institutions — partnering with executive leaders, government, philanthropy, and creative communities to design initiatives that bring diverse stakeholders into meaningful dialogue and shared experience.My work focuses on expanding equitable access, elevating underrepresented voices, and building cross-sector partnerships that align institutional values with meaningful community impact.From free public festivals to national convenings and Capitol Hill screenings, I shape high-visibility experiences where culture becomes a catalyst for connection and impact.I lead with empathy and joy, and I care deeply about how people experience the work — the audiences we serve and the teams behind it.

1. Director, National Events

   Apr 2020 — Present

   Independent Television Service (ITVS) is public media’s leading incubator and co-producer of independent film and the presenter of the award-winning PBS series Independent Lens. ITVS brings underrepresented voices and urgent social issues to national audiences through bold documentary storytelling.As Director of National Events, I lead ITVS’ external engagement strategy through high-impact national convenings that connect filmmakers, public media leaders, funders, policymakers, and cultural influencers. I spearhead flagship engagements at Capitol Hill, Sundance, the PBS Annual Meeting, and ITVS Filmmaker Summits — designing experiences that align storytelling with public dialogue and field leadership.Through this work, I cultivate strategic partnerships across philanthropy, government, and media, translating organizational values into visible, public-facing impact. These engagements strengthen ITVS’ institutional credibility and deepen relationships with funders and community stakeholders nationwide.Internally, I help shape organizational culture and alignment by leading monthly all-staff gatherings and guiding company-wide agendas that strengthen connection, clarity, and shared purpose across teams.
