I recently completed my final-year Data Science project at Valeo focusing on developing innovative applications using Generative AI technologies, where I designed and deployed an end-to-end NLP pipeline for the automatic classification of after-sales claims (≈1M verbatims). The system combined advanced deep learning (DistilBERT fine-tuned on industry-specific categories), LLM reformulation, and human-in-the-loop validation, and was deployed on Google Cloud Vertex AI. This project delivered direct business impact: faster claim processing, improved data quality for R&D, and stronger reliability insights for product improvement.Beyond technical skills, I’ve learned that the real value of Data Science lies in bridging analytics with business outcomes. My work was not just about model accuracy, but about supporting quality, reducing costs, and driving customer satisfaction in a global industrial context.
