ABOUT HETTY KINGSTON
I\'m a keen outdoorswoman who thrives on adventure, endurance, and data! My passion lies in driving positive change and improving the accessibility and inclusivity of the outdoors through my research and event organisation.My research is focused on diversity, participation and sustainability. Then putting my findings into action, I leverage the knowledge I\'ve gained, along with a love for logistics and spreadsheets, to actively build grassroots communities from the ground up- Shift BARCAMP: a participant-driven event bringing together environmental enthusiasts and experts from the cycling industry. Created to give like-minded individuals the chance to connect, find inspiration and tackle key sustainability challenges- Running Out of Time: a 24/7 relay from COP26 in Glasgow to COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh delivering a message from the leaders of tomorrow to the leaders of today- Women\'s Trad Festival: an inclusive climbing festival held in the Peak District welcoming all ages. abilities and genders- Turning the Cogs: using data to increase the diversity of the start line within cycling events all around the world.
