With over 15 years of experience, I am a physician executive specializing in global drug safety and pharmacovigilance. As Vice President and Therapeutic Area Head of Global Medical Safety Oncology at Takeda since February 2023, I lead a team of approximately 30 pharmacovigilance professionals and oversee the safety strategy for a portfolio of more than 20 investigational and marketed oncology assets. My responsibilities include guiding safety strategies for NDAs, MAAs, and lifecycle management while co-chairing the Global Safety Governance Committee and serving as a key member of the Oncology Development Strategy Team. My expertise spans investigational new drug applications (INDs), marketing authorization applications (MAAs), and safety governance, with a strong focus on oncology and immuno-oncology. I am driven to support patient safety through sound medical judgment, regulatory collaboration, and operational leadership.
