About Hersha Venkatesh
I\'m a full stack software engineer with 10+ years of technical experience in ecommerce, payment gateways, and customer interaction. I\'ve worked on both the technical and business side of the customer experience, so I\'m uniquely qualified to identify the best engineering and consumer solutions. I am passionate about full stack development with technologies such as React, Redux, React, Node, MongoDB, SQL, and Rails. From a young age, I have always enjoyed building things. With full stack engineering, I am able to build impactful applications and express myself creatively. When developing an application, I aim to add features that are user friendly, technically efficient, and cost effective. My main project, at the moment, is a clone of the popular messaging app Slack built with React on Rails with the goal of learning the nuances of real-time messaging. On the personal side, I love public speaking and have been a member of Toastmasters for several years, even winning several speaking competitions at the Area and District level.
