About Herschel Dhekne
I have a PhD + 9 years of research experience in cell signaling, cell biology and protein biochemistry as well as expertise in studying gene candidates for familial disorders. To that end, I contributed to teams that have studied rare genetic diseases as well as neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson Disease. I enjoy working in collaborative environment with a highly interdisciplinary team. I have mentored more than 10 undergrads students during my PhD and postdoc tenure.
