In September 2016 Richard was appointed to the Governing Body of Longacre School. Longacre is a pre-prep school of nearly 300 pupils providing first class education to children from 2-11 years of age. Pupils are taught in small groups making education exciting and challenging, enabling them to also advance emotionally and spiritually. The school has been highly successful in developing pupils into well-rounded, articulate and caring individuals who can progress with confidence into the wider community. Richard chairs the Governance Committee and is a member of the Finance Committee.
