I am a graduate student at Texas A&M University pursuing a Master of Natural Resources in Conservation Policy, with a focus on the intersection of land use, energy development, and conservation. My academic and professional interests center on how large-scale infrastructure, particularly renewable energy, shapes working lands, rural communities, and ecosystem integrity across Texas.Through my role with the Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute, I have contributed to large-scale wildlife research projects, including estimating leopard population densities in Botswana using camera-trap data. This experience strengthened my skills in data management, spatial analysis, and translating scientific findings into meaningful insights for conservation decision-making.My current work focuses on mapping renewable energy development across Texas, analyzing patterns of solar, wind, and associated infrastructure to better understand impacts on land fragmentation and rural landscapes. This work supports a broader capstone project aimed at informing policy and land management strategies in rapidly changing regions.I am particularly interested in bridging science and policy to support practical, data-driven solutions for conservation challenges, especially in landscapes where economic development and ecological sustainability must coexist.

   Director of Internal Relations for Fish Camp 2026 at Texas A&M University, overseeing internal operations and data systems supporting the selection, placement, and onboarding of over student leaders and thousands of incoming freshmen. Manages large-scale datasets and administrative platforms to coordinate counselor selection, application review processes, and freshman registration logistics across all sessions.Leads the development of systems for camp, cabin, and transportation assignments, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and efficiency. Collaborates with directors, advisors, and university stakeholders to streamline workflows and improve data integrity. Supports initiatives that expand accessibility and inclusion, including efforts such as Fish Camp Access to better serve students with diverse needs.
