EdPlus is a unit of the ASU Enterprise focused on the design and scalable delivery of digital teaching and learning models to increase student success and reduce barriers to achievement in higher education. We advance the economic, social, cultural and overall health of the local, national and international communities served by ASU.As a Public Relations Manager at EdPlus, I drive strategic media relations efforts to amplify the visibility and impact of the ASU Online digital teaching and learning portfolio, to include our online degree programs. My role involves crafting comprehensive strategies to secure earned media coverage and collaborating with academic units across Arizona State University. I lead initiatives to develop compelling articles, media pitches, news articles and thought leadership opportunities that resonate with diverse audiences, including education, consumer and lifestyle sectors. By working closely with teams across EdPlus, I collaborate on innovative content strategies that align with public relations and larger departmental goals and contribute to a clear and consistent brand voice. I also identify student-focused storytelling opportunities and in partnership with the ASU Online social media team, capitalize on owned media channels to share stories that reflect our mission of expanding access to quality education.In addition to media engagement, I oversee analytics and reporting to measure the success of earned media efforts and track competitor activity.This role allows me to combine my expertise in media relations, content creation and strategic planning to support EdPlus\' commitment to transforming education through innovative solutions and technology.
