About Hermann Kugeler
I am a highly motivated, detail oriented Mechanical Engineer In Training with strong leadership and design skills, advancing in becoming a licensed engineer with successfully passing the FE exam. I am currently working as the Vice President of Business Development at Makai Ocean Engineering, Inc. in Waimanalo, HI. My fascination with machines first became tangible at age 14 when I rebuilt an engine, and was further cemented by building a 1931 Ford hot rod in my own design that I started at age 15. The design and build process of this car helped me discover my ability to turn an idea into reality. I then turned my passion for cars and design into a company in order to put my designs into the world for other people to use and see. My decision to pursue a position in the mechanical engineering field is the next step to release my passion for designing products.
