About Herman Scott

I have been licensed as a North Carolina Real Estate Broker since 2007. As a Realtor®, a primary focus of my career in real estate is helping first time buyers achieve the goal of owning a home. After working with a major national real estate firm, I joined Brokers United Realty in 2011. Our firm is a small minority owned company of real estate brokers with extensive experience in matching sellers and buyers. Our brokers are members of the Durham Regional Association of Realtors, Triangle Multiple Listing Service, and the National Association of Realtors. We utilize experience and knowledge of Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill and surrounding areas to provide excellent real estate services. I am a graduate of Morehouse College with a degree in Mathematics. My passion is helping young adults achieve success. Appointed by the Durham County Board of Commissioners, I served three terms on the Durham County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council. I have held leadership positions in the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Junior Achievement. I am chairman of my church\'s jail ministry and a former Sunday School Teacher for young adults. Having retired in 2012 after nearly 40 years in the telecommunications industry, primarily in data base management and network engineering, I am prepared and available to advise and assist clients in buying and selling real estate in North Carolina.
