ABOUT HERMAIN KAZMI

A cup of freshly brewed Cuban coffee, mind full of inspirational ideas and a canvas waiting to be explored, that’s me! I am inspired by the personas, traditions and objects that surround me. Nothing motivates me more than solving puzzles that are yet to be solved.I am an Integrity engineer by profession and product designer by degree with experience in the execution of projects in Utilities Supply, Tobacco, Chemical, Fertilizer and Automobile industry. Included in my professional experience is pipeline integrity assessment, utility network analysis and optimization, smart phone application design, web development, rapid prototyping, automobile product design, production and delivery system design, value stream mapping and maintenance of machine. I completed my Masters Degree in Engineering Design from W Booth School of Engineering Practice at McMaster University, where I designed applications to enhance safety in excavation, a challenge presented by Union Gas. Also I earned BE degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, Pakistan. Here I designed a Spiral Plate Heat Ex-changer which replaces the conventional Shell and Tube Heat Ex-changer in the industry.
