Adage founder Herb Jordan taught at The University of Michigan Law School where he received the L. Hart Wright award as the law school’s outstanding faculty member. He is also the recipient of a Thomas M. Cooley Distinguished Brief Award for scholarly writing and is a frequent national speaker on culture, film and music. Jordan is also an award-winning songwriter, penning several jazz standards including the title tracks to two #1 albums. He has also produced a number of critically acclaimed albums including the Grammy nominated “American Song” by Andy Bey as well as recordings by Pulitzer Prize winner Ornette Coleman. Jordan’s work has been featured in numerous articles and broadcasts including CBS Sunday Morning, NPR All Things Considered, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and The New Yorker.
