I currently serve as a Technology Analyst 2 (Product Management) within the Department of Information Technology Services (ITS), supporting modernization initiatives for systems used by the Department of Criminal Justice. My role is primarily focused on coordinating and supporting product and program-level efforts that aim to improve legacy systems, enhance functionality, and align technology solutions with evolving business and regulatory needs.In this role, I work across multiple teams and stakeholders to support the planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives. My responsibilities span requirement analysis, stakeholder coordination, project tracking, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation.A significant portion of my work involves gathering and documenting business and system requirements. I engage with program areas, subject matter experts, and end users to understand current processes, identify gaps, and translate those needs into clear and actionable requirements for development teams. I ensure that requirements are well-defined, traceable, and aligned with the overall objectives of modernization efforts.I also coordinate closely with technical teams, including developers, architects, and QA teams, to support implementation efforts. This includes clarifying requirements, addressing questions, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet documented expectations.As part of modernization initiatives, I contribute to the evaluation and improvement of existing systems and workflows. I support efforts to identify inefficiencies in legacy applications and participate in discussions around system enhancements, replacements, or integrations.
