Being a diversity peer educator entails being open to never ending growth and development. In this position, I am required to curate approximately 3 to 4 workshops per semester on diversity and social justice topics. I do this work on a team with up at 10 other diversity peer educators. I am also expected to present various workshops to organizations on campus who request informational seminars on whatever social justice subject they specifically need. I am on the outreach team where I reach out to dozens of student organizations every week to market our programs, and facilitate scheduling.
