ABOUT HENRY OKWUCHIM

In my current role as the Director of Quality at Gavan Graham Electrical Products, I lead the development and implementation of quality assurance and control strategies, manages audits, oversees ISO compliance, and monitors supplier performance. I ensure the company\'s products meet the highest industry standards while providing technical support throughout project development and execution.Since joining Gavan Graham in 2020 as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, I have progressed through key leadership roles, becoming Supervisor in 2021 and Departmental Manager in 2023, where I oversaw electrical design, wiring, and testing operations. I am passionate about mentoring teams to achieve excellence in product quality and innovation.I hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, and a master’s in electrical Power Distribution (Kuban State University of Technology, Russia). I also hold an Associate Degree in Computer Engineering (Benson Idahosa University, Nigeria). In industrial standards, I am highly knowledgeable in NEC Code, ANSI, NFPA standards, and UL regulations. In 2021, I earned designation as a UL Manufacturers Training Representative (UL-MTR), with certificates in UL-891, UL-508A, UL-50, and UL-50E.Prior to Gavan Graham, I gained extensive experience at Andy-Gab International Limited, Nigeria, SimplexGrinnell (now Johnson Controls) New York, and RCM Technologies, NJ, working in technical wiring, electrical design, and field modification projects.I am guided by the philosophy:\"Do things excellently that no man anywhere at any time will do it better.\" Outside of work, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
