ABOUT HENRY MUCCINI

I am Full Professor in Computer Science at the University of L’Aquila. I received my PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Rome – La Sapienza – in 2002. I have been visiting professor at Information & Computer Science, University of California, Irvine in 2002 and 2006. RESEARCH INTERESTS:My research interests are in the Computer Science area, Software Engineering field. In particular, my main research interests are in software architecture descriptions and analysis, architecture-based analysis, model-driven engineering, and engineering of ML-intensive applications. ORGANIZING COMMITTEES:I have been the General co-chair of CAIN 2025, PC co-chair of CAIN 2024, General co-Chair of ICSA 2023, and the PC co-chair of the Software Engineering in Practice (SEIP) Track at ICSE 2023. Previously, I have been General Chair of ECSA 2020, I-CiTies 2018, and MOBILESoft 2017, and I co-chaired the Program Committee of WICSA 2016, of AST 2013, QSIC 2012, and the EUROMICRO SEAA 2012. STEERING COMMITTEES:I am currently the steering committee chair of ICSA Int. Conference on Software Architecture), and a steering committee member of MOBILESoft Int. Conference on Mobile Software Engineering and Systems), steering committee member of CAIN (Int. Conference on AI Engineering), steering committee member of ECSA (European Conference on Software Architecture). PUBLICATIONS:I have published over 170 international conference, workshop and journal articles on these topics (according to DBLP).EDITORIAL BOARD:I am the theme issue Associate Editor in Chief of Software, an Editorial Board member of the Journal of Systems and Software, and an Editorial Board member of the ACM Transactions on Autonomous and Adaptive Systems.COORDINATOR:I have been the Head of Study Programmes in Computer Science at the University of L’Aquila (20••••24), and has been the coordinator of the Mobile and Web Technologies Master program. I am the UnivAQ coordinator of the EDISS Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Programme on the Engineering of Data-intensive Intelligent Software Systems, and of the SE4GD Erasmus Mundus M.Sc. programme on Software Engineers For Green Deal.
