About Henry G.
I\'ve been passionate about computer security since the first issue of Phrack (BBS days). While at Microsoft, I helped make various products more secure, by not only understanding how things worked, but by finding assumptions, and then finding ways to break those assumptions. Sometimes, this would just expose a bug that crashed the system. Other times, the software would bypass permissions checks, or do other things that \"should not\" have been allowed. The security community at Microsoft is fabulous! I was humbled to be part of the Blue Hat conference from its inception (as a way to not send hundreds of employees to BlackHat), through its evolution into an outreach program. first as an attendee, and later as one of the many volunteers.Even after transitioning to a legal role, I continued to feed my insatiable curiosity and technical skills via internal expert special interest groups, open source code contributions, hardware hacking, and becoming an independent security researcher. Whether enabling platform support for a new microcontroller (FastLED on nRF52840), improved tinyUF2 bootloader (including automated CI/CD prevention of file system bugs), learning about RFID (now the expert on em4x70), or bringing up the new BusPirate5 hardware tool. improving the stability, reliability, and usability of software is just part of my DNA.I\'m humbled to now be able to be a part of the Nintendo legacy.** NOTICE: I DO NOT ACCEPT LEGAL COMMUNICATION THROUGH LINKEDIN.
