ABOUT HENRY Z. JIN
Hello! I\'m Henry Zheng Jin, a recent UC Merced graduate with a B.S. in Management and Business Economics. As a first-generation Korean-American who has called the United States home since age 2, I bring a unique perspective to my career aspirations in international law and public service. My academic background in economics has equipped me with analytical skills and an understanding of global economic trends, which I aim to leverage in international relations and policy work. Through experiences ranging from political economy research at the Mercatus Center to civic leadership with Democracy House, I\'ve developed a deep appreciation for how law intersects with policy to address complex global challenges.Key areas of exploration:• International law and diplomacy• Environmental policy and sustainability• Economic analysis and its application to global challenges• Cross-partisan collaboration and democratic governanceI\'m currently preparing for law school to further develop my critical thinking and legal reasoning abilities. My goal is to use legal education as a foundation for exploring how law can address pressing international issues through diplomacy, policy development, and public service.I\'m eager to connect with professionals in international relations, law, environmental policy, and public service. Let\'s collaborate toward solutions that strengthen democratic institutions and promote global cooperation.
