About Henry Suzuki
Henry Suzuki is a Brazilian, first-generation college graduate passionate about the transformative power of storytelling. He recently earned his BFA in Film, Photography, and Visual Arts from the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College.Henry’s creative focus lies in producing, cinematography, and photography. Over the past few years, he has worked on numerous student and professional film sets in roles such as Producer, Assistant Director, Production Manager, and Director of Photography—gaining hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and a strong foundation in set etiquette. Henry’s production experience spans feature films, commercials, and university-backed projects. He worked as a camera and general PA on the feature JACKED 1980s, which premiered at TIFF, and served as the 2nd Assistant Director on the upcoming feature In Fading Twilight. On the commercial side, Henry was the Director of Photography for the behind-the-scenes shoot of a Coca-Cola Refreshing Films production, and he has produced and shot projects for Cornell University, Ithaca College, and others. His industry background also includes internships with American High and a Project Manager role at Park Productions. Henry has produced award-winning short films, including Forever, which earned both national and international recognition. One of his guiding inspirations comes from Brazilian journalist Aparício Torelly:\"O que se leva desta vida é a vida que a gente leva\"(What we take from this life is the life that we live). Henry carries this philosophy into every story he tells—aiming to create films that are not only cinematic experiences but also lasting, meaningful reflections of life.
