About Henry Homza
I’m a design leader focused on what it takes to move ideas from concept to production.Over the past decade, I’ve helped bring more than 100 million broadband and smart home devices to market. I lead industrial design and UX at Comcast, working closely with product, supply chain, and manufacturing partners to keep design intent grounded in real constraints.A lot of my work lives in the reality of leased hardware, where sustainability is less about promises and more about what survives refurbishment. That means designing for durability, repair, and reuse from the start, and making choices like simpler SKUs, reusable parts, and packaging that can handle more than one lifecycle. My work has been recognized by iF, Red Dot, Good Design, IDEA, Core77, and Cannes. While the recognition is appreciated, I measure success by whether a product solves the right problem, behaves as expected, and earns trust over time.Outside of my day job, I teach product design and design thinking at Drexel University. I also run a few side projects that blend design, systems thinking, and storytelling. If it sounds like we’re thinking about similar problems, let’s grab a coffee (or a beer) and compare notes.
