ABOUT HENRY HOLLAND
I am a Health Sciences student driven by a simple mission: to use my energy, experience, and education to ensure that the people around me are safe, supported, and heard. From coordinating safety, and staff in an Aquatic Supervisor position to supporting the McMaster community as an Emergency Medical Responder and Peer Support Worker, I am privileged to be on the front lines of community well-being. As a university varsity athlete I learned the importance of discipline, and how to execute under pressure. As a coach, and educator I’ve learned how to communicate with anyone, and the importance of compassion and curiosity. As a student I’ve learned how to focus my time, and the importance of hard work. I now apply that learning to bringing kindness to every community I am a part of and every patient I encounter. I believe that improving the lives of others requires more than just knowledge and experience—it takes bold enthusiasm and the courage to care.
