I am a Chemical Engineer with a solid technical knowledge within the Downstream and Oil Sands Industries with more than 19 years of working experience at Oil & Gas Industry. During my experience as a contractor and consultant for Refineries in Latin-American and Canada along with the Oil Sands in Canada as well, I have been supporting Process Engineering, Project Engineering and Reliability Teams for implementing best practices with the highest safety standards in order to minimize reliability issues and improving the performance of the operation. Besides this, I also have developed other skills like budgeting, risk assessment, inventory control and project management. Oil Sands field experience has been complemented with extensive training and specialization in process systems from a chemical, mechanical and operational standpoint. Strong technical knowledge, proactive problem solving and troubleshooting skills. P.Eng. Knowledge in Desalting and Overhead Corrosion Strong computer skills with simulation software. High motivation for team working and Leadership. Responsibility, honesty and correctness in any activity. Knowledge in EHS Internal Auditor OHSAS 18001 Extensive field experience on: •Desalting, CDU, VDU and Amine Units. •H2S Scavenger applications •Chemical cleaning and degassing of process equipment, tanks and unit circuits •Petrochemical processes: Paraffin, Ethylene and Aromatic Plants •Supporting Plant T/A (Design and implementation of cleaning and degassing systems to reduce turnaround time)
