ABOUT HENRY DEMAREST
My name is Henry, and I\'m currently a senior at Yale University majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. After college, I want to work on projects that push humanity forward, especially when it comes to exploring space and developing technologies that will be important for a interplanetary future. To this end, I have shaped my education around engineering skills important for the commercial space industry, led my school\'s liquid rocketry program, and interned at groundbreaking companies like Astrobotic Technologies and Relativity Space. As I approach the end of my undergraduate education, I have found myself especially excited by simulations and controls engineering, and I plan to pursue a Masters Degree to acquire a deeper understanding in this area. Whether it is maximizing a rocket\'s payload with an ideal orbital ascent trajectory or developing robust control systems for robots meant to explore other worlds, I am excited to contribute to this intersection point between hardware and software, helping build a future for humanity among the stars.
