I architect and implement repeatable cloud infrastructure IaaS/PaaS cloud deployments using Terraform and the OCI console for clients in both the private and public sector and perform on-premise to OCI database migrations using Oracle DataPump migration methods. The projects I work on are on-premise EBS to OCI migrations and on-premise system migrations to OCI for clients in UK local government, UK Government, UK higher education and the private sector. My significant achievements working at Namos Solutions include: • A custom Autonomous Database Long Term Backup solution, enabling clients to save up to per year on database backups, focused on cost savings, enabling better return on investment• Architected and developed an OCI GenAI command line chatbot using Python SDKs using Microsoft SharePoint as a knowledge source and another chatbot that was OCI native using APEX and Generative AI agents to use object storage buckets as knowledge bases• Created OCI DevOps PoC for yearly audit that involved deploying a python application to an OKE clusterIn addition to my role, I am also responsible for dealing with Managed Services client tickets and requests to resolve Linux, OCI and Oracle database related issues and complete changes where required. I also provide out of hours support on an on call rotation for cloud environments running 24x7 that serves multiple users. Additionally, I also mentor and train up junior consultants in the IaaS/DBA practice through custom developed training labs, covering OCI basics, advanced OCI topics and involving them in my workloads.
