   PresidentKeir Educational ResourcesKeir was founded by Jack C. Keir, Ph. D, CPCU®, CLU® in approximately 1968. Dr. Keir started the company by writing and publishing supplements to help students who were studying for the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation. The CLU is conferred by The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and for many years Dr. Keir was the Director of Curriculum and Examinations at the College. Soon after leaving the College to take a position as a professor of insurance at Temple University, Dr. Keir began preparing the supplemental study materials that have helped thousands of students to pass insurance exams. His desire to provide students with the additional help they needed for their insurance exams led to the formation of the company.
