ABOUT HENNING GRESCH
As a senior project manager I am fully responsible for the production controls package on large scale EPC contracts. Total Akpo and Total Usan both executed in Nigeria and my current project Exxon Erha North Phase 2 also in Nigeria are the size of projects I was assigned to for the last years. But also BP Taurt, Apache Coniston or Shell Malampaya Phase 2 gave me excellent opportunities to gather experience with other operators at different locations like Egypt, Australia and the Philippines. Direct communication to the end customer and the system team is what I enjoy most in my job. Keeping all internal divisions on track like engineering, procurement, quality and operations plus a large number of sub-suppliers mainly in the US, UK, Norway and Germany is key to deliver the project on schedule and on cost. My involvement starts during the tendering stage until contract sign off throughout the whole execution phase including initial and detailed engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, delivery and commissioning up to the final handover to aftermarket.
