From last 8 years I am working as a DevOps Resource. During this period I came to learn a lot of things, those are: Configuration management comprises of various admin activities, like merging, branching, stream and baseline management, tools integration, User Creation and other Admin functions. For the implementation of these activities I am using various tools, version management tool: ClearCase, SVN and GIT command line, release tracking and ticketing: ClearQuest, Redmine, verification tool like: Sonarqube. Automation: Automating build and deployment process is a part of my role, used Perl and batch scripting (till prod environment) for this automation and also automated the ClearQuest user creation through script. Continuous Integration and Deployment, I am working on Jenkins and IBM rational Build forge tools. Automation of build and deployment is doing using these tools only. Database management, under which I have used PLSQL at some extent. The role comprises of various database related tasks like cloning of environment, migration, user creation and maintenance. And also environment management. Build tools: I am working on Maven and ANT build tools. As a build and deployment operator I came to know about support platforms like Eclipse, JDeveloper and XML/HTML/Weblogic. I was also trained in IBM RTC (Rational Team concert) and got a chance to work on. Started learning concepts of Cloud technology AWS (Amazon Web Services) and containerization orchestration tool (Openshift)
