Chartered Civil Engineer (EC, UK) with over 24 years of experience in the field of water and waste water engineering. I have undertaken projects from United Kingdom, India, Australia, Singapore, Qatar and Iraq, predominantly in pipelines, reservoirs, pumping stations, intake works, transmission and distribution system, drainage and water & wastewater treatment. As a design manager, I have managed and delivered consultancy projects as well as EPC projects, led multidisciplinary inter office teams and worked closely with contractors, clients and other stakeholders. My technical experience includes feasibility study, optionering, planning, design, detailed engineering, cost-estimation, preparation of design reports, specifications, tenders documents, technical/financial bid evaluation and review of supplier documents. Other key area of experience includes risk assessment, health and safety, environmental impact assessment, environmental management plans.In addition, I have also gained experience in preparation of proposals, prequalification documents, tender analysis and bid submissions for water and commercial projects.As a quality controller, I am responsible to carryout check and review of design documents to maintain high quality and health and safety standards. I play a key role in driving improvement in design efficiency within B&V Mumbai office through standardizing best practices including preparation of process maps, technical guides, evaluating client feedback, product non conformities etc. Being a part of leadership team, my responsibilities are to collaborate and understand other B&V business and operations and subsequently assist Mumbai office engineering managers in project planning, monitoring and successful design delivery.
