Aker Systems specialises in two key areas; Cloud transition, transformation, and sensitive data operations; and advanced data engineering & analytics. Aker Systems use automation and DevSecOps principles and teams to provide highly secure and scaleable solutions for customers across Government, Finance, and Intelligence sectors. This was a project based on Node.Js, Python, Postgres SQL, RabitMQ, little bit of PHP and related frontend technologies. This project was built, developed and deployed on cloud technologies using AWS. We also used Kubernetes.io, Drone.io, Quay.io, Docker, etc for complete automation. Automation was the main objective around this project and we made sure we have enough testing in place so we followed TDD approach and made sure we have unit, functional and integration tests in place. We also used SonarQube for code quality control. Once the code was pushed, it ran through a pipeline which would check for the formatting, quality, then build it, test and then placed it in JFROG Artifactory on passing of all tests and checks. Various pipelines were ran based on where context and state. Similarly, once all the checkboxes were ticked we deployed on AWS using cloud architecture.
