About Hemanth Panchagnula
I am a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, with a minor in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. With a strong academic foundation and a deep-rooted passion for aerospace engineering, I am actively seeking opportunities to contribute to the design, development, and innovation of aircraft systems and technologies.My experience as a structural team member in Assailing Falcons (SAE AeroDesign Team) has equipped me with practical skills in complete aircraft modeling using SolidWorks (CSWA certified), and composite material selection using Classical Laminate Theory, structural analysis. I have also led projects in competitions held by industries such as GKN Aerospace during IANC-VIT, which included an efficient structural design and manufacturing of a minimal-powered glider. Additionally, I contributed to a project involving the design and CAD modeling of a biomimetic submersible vehicle, applying engineering principles to develop structurally sound and efficient designs for extreme environments.I am proficient in CAD and simulation tools including SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and I am currently pursuing certifications in Python, ANSYS and MATLAB. I am a strong-minded, goal-oriented individual who thrives in collaborative environments and is always ready to take initiative in high-pressure situations.I am eager to apply my skills, enthusiasm, and dedication to contribute to innovative aerospace projects and continue learning in a dynamic engineering environment.
