Handle the Twin Tunnel work in the Chennai Metro Rail Phase -2 Corridor-03 CP31/TU02 of Underground featuring, With twin tunnel length of 12 km,5.8 m dia.• Inspecting and guiding of steering, articulation, mode of operation and grout injection for installation of reaction frame and cradle, Tunnel boring (TBM), cutter head• Support effective supervision of underground works, encompassing TBM tunnelling operations.• Collaborate with the Contractor in assessing actual ground conditions encountered during underground works, comparing them to baseline conditions in the Geological subsurface profile.• Ensure the quality of tunnel segment installation.• Confirm that inspection and construction monitoring for underground works align with the Construction Management Plan.• Monitor the on-site deployment of the Contractor’s resources (plant, equipment, personnel), verifying daily resource reports, especially those related to variations and day works.• Construction of Diaphragm wall and Excavation of shaft with the support system.• Monitoring of Face Pressure All modes of TBM Operation According to Geotechnical investigation.• Monitoring the alignment of Tunnel Boring machine and ensure that deviation is below our tolerance limits.(50mm).• Tam Grouting and Overburden strengthening• Monitor and Inspecting TBM tunnel ring building activities and transportation of segments from surface to tunnel.• Confinement wall and Eye shield installation according to strata.• Cutter head intervention and Maintained Face pressure by Bentonite filling Monitoring of Air loss.• Launching the EPB TBM and Monitoring the horizontal and vertical deviation • Monitoring of TBM Ring Mining and Segment Erection with Proper Grouting work• Monitoring of TBM with the help of Real time monitoring system• Monitoring of lip, step, and segment Roll.• Inspecting safety related issues daily instrumentation monitoring and public safety issues and risk management.
