   As a Senior Embedded Software V&V Engineer, I lead verification and validation activities for Class ventilators, ensuring compliance with global medical device regulations and standards such as FDA 21 CFR Part 820, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971. My role involves developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, automating testing processes, and validating software functionality to meet critical safety and performance requirements.Key Responsibilities: • Spearhead V&V efforts for embedded software used in life-sustaining ventilators, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. • Develop and implement verification strategies, covering unit, integration, system, regression, and acceptance testing. • Design and optimize automated test scripts in Python, improving efficiency and repeatability in testing workflows. • Work closely with software engineers, system architects, and regulatory teams to ensure complete test coverage and adherence to design specifications. • Conduct requirements-based testing, ensuring software functionality aligns with defined system requirements in Polarion, DOORS, and Jira. • Maintain traceability matrices to link system requirements to test cases, ensuring compliance with industry standards. • Analyze and document defects using JIRA, HP ALM, and collaborate with development teams for root cause analysis and resolution. • Perform risk-based testing to evaluate potential software hazards, aligning with ISO 14971 risk management processes. • Support regulatory audits and submissions, providing test artifacts and ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations. • Optimize testing methodologies, applying best practices from Agile, V-Model, and Waterfall development processes to enhance product quality.
