I am a Regional Project Finance Controller at ABB, a global leader in power and automation technologies. I have a passion for project finance and accounting, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting for complex and large-scale projects in Egypt and South Africa, with an order value of 50 MUSD. In my current role, I collaborate with the Project Manager and the project team to optimize the project cash flow, revenues, and gross margin contribution, as well as to identify and mitigate any financial risks or opportunities. I also support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. I have successfully completed the Project Finance Management Development Program from ABB in January 2023, which enhanced my skills and knowledge in project finance and management. I have a strong academic background in accounting and finance, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commerce, Cost Accountant certification from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India, and a US CPA certification from AICPA (license awaiting). I have also gained valuable experience as a FP & A Specialist and a Finance Superintendent at ABB and ITC Limited, respectively, where I performed various financial planning and analysis, procurement, and inventory management tasks.
